Runtime content is the data your builds use at runtime but that doesn’t travel inside a build: the content of Knowledge Bases and FlowX Databases, and the trained versions of document classifiers. Each workspace keeps its own runtime content, so the same build can run against different content in different environments. Open a project, switch to the Runtime view, and expand Runtime Content. It has two pages:
  • Data Sources Content: Knowledge Bases and FlowX Databases available at runtime, and the builds that use each one
  • Document Classifiers: classifier models your builds can run, and the main version serving each one

Data Sources Content

The list shows each data source’s Name, Type, Used by builds, Edited by, and Edited at. A data source appears here once a build references it. Open a row’s menu for these actions: Import is available for Knowledge Bases and FlowX Databases. Import and clear are disabled for data sources that come from a library. Only one export, import, or clear job runs on a data source at a time.

Moving content between environments

1

Export from the source environment

On the source environment, open Data Sources Content, select Export content on the data source, and download the file when the export finishes.
2

Import on the target environment

On the target environment, select Import content on the same data source and upload the file. Confirm that importing replaces the existing content.
3

Review and finish the import

For a Knowledge Base, the Review Content Import dialog lists metadata keys under Breaking Changes, Changes, and No Changes. Breaking changes are keys that build query criteria reference and that the import removes: builds that use them fail until you fix them. Click Import Anyway to continue, or Cancel to stop. If an import waits for your review, select Finish import on the row.
Import and clear can’t be undone. Importing removes the existing content of the data source before loading the file.
The export and import files are stored in the runtime content bucket. On self-hosted deployments, see Application Manager setup for the bucket configuration.

Document Classifiers

The list shows each classifier’s Name, Defined in, Used by builds, Main version, and Status. Open a classifier to see its Trained Models, Data, and Classes tabs. The main version is the trained version that serves runtime traffic. To change it, promote another trained version. Promotion takes effect immediately, with no new build. For the full flow, see Manage trained versions at runtime.

Access

Viewing runtime content needs read access to the workspace’s builds. Exporting, importing, and clearing content needs the Workspace Admin or Workspace Runtime Editor role, or an organization admin role. See Workspace access rights.
